Our Goal

The goal of pretiosus is to educate, inspire and motivate students, and people who are already working in the field of engineering as well. We find it important to reach as many people as possible. This is, in today's society it is more important than ever to have and to actively educate new engineers that are capable of solving important urgent matters.

We don't claim that only using pretiosus.io is sufficient to reach this goal. However, we do aim to help students to understand topics that they struggle with. As well as to encourage other people to possess as many skills and knowledge.

The meaning of pretiosus in Latin is precious and valuable. This is exactly what knowledge is. Knowledge is valuable to oneself. But it is also more than that. Knowledge might even be more valuable than an investment. Because money itself only allows the possibility to improve existing ideas. But in the end, knowledge, and especially all the knowledge combined of many people is the actual thing that makes new ideas and technologies.
